Today At Talent Development I sent an email to Badminton Southland. I emailed them to see how The ILT helps Badminton Southland. I am waiting to hear back from them. The email said
Hello I'm Hyrum from Enrich@ILT. I was wondering if you would answer some questions. If thats okay thanks. The first question is in what ways does the ILT help Badminton Southland. Does the ILT help provide coaches. Does the ILT help to pay for shuttles. Is there is any thing else that the ILT helps support you with. I look forward to your answers Thank you Hyrum.

Talent Development

Today at enrich for talent development Steve came in to talk to us about filming a documentary. He showed us a video. We did an interview. Ken and Claudia were the ones in it. We tried different camera angles -  high, down low and a normal view. Tom was the camera person. Everyone was watching him.

Hi Hyrum,

You have worked hard with your documentary group this week, to organise an interview with a member of Rugby Southland.  I hope you hear back from them soon!  What questions are you going to ask in your interview? Who is going to be the interviewer? I can't wait to see how it goes!

Today at Enrich we decided who is going to be in our group for talent development. We also had to choose our topic. My group chose one that we had to do on sport. We had to put down some ideas that we have to do like interviewing, finding things out about sports. Stephen rang Cue TV to see if we could go to them so they can tell us some things about filming.

Week one talent development

Last week I chose one thing to do for talent development. I chose documentaries. We had four stations. One station was about the ILT. We had to write down what the ILT does and things that they help with. Some of those things are rugby,touch rugby, netball,golf,cricket,rowing and tennis.  The second station was one with 60 minutes and we had to watch a documentary. The third one was one that we had to read a book called What is a southlander? We had to write the good things about southland. The last one was about the MADE awards.

Hyrum your ICT talent development was not only a real challenge with some great learning but also a real passion for you. You were totally engaged with your project at each stage and this was great to see. You have also made the most of all the other opportunities Enrich has offered such as chess, P4C, blogging and learning new ICT skills as well as group challenges. You always have a positive thoughtful approach, which makes you an asset to any group task, game or challenge.
